If your vehicle is being stored at our storage facility, it could be for a wide variety of reasons. Below we will do our best to explain how to retrieve your possessions and handle the process.
If your vehicle was involved in an accident, our first step will be to navigate your insurance policy.
A full coverage policy will allow you to retrieve your vehicles belongings free of charge. At that point, we will be in touch with your insurance company to navigate the rest of the process.
A liability policy will require the charges to be paid before retrieving belongings or the vehicle.
If your vehicle was impounded or abandoned and moved by law enforcement the owner of the vehicle will be responsible for the fees. Please read the "Hold Forms" section below, as it may pertain to you.
Commercial property impounds are regulated under Maryland law. At the entrance of each of our commercial properties you will see our posted signs. These signs will include restrictions, posted fees, pickup address, and the 24/7 dispatch line.
Residential/Private Property impounds are NOT regulated by the state of Maryland. If the owner of private property wants a vehicle moved, they are allowed to call a towing company of their choice. These fees may vary depending on the depth of the services provided.
Property owners DO NOT pay for this service, the owner of the vehicle will be required to provide payment before the release of their property.

Law enforcement officers have the ability to put a hold on your vehicle for various reasons if they request a tow. If your vehicle has a hold placed on it, we are required to keep the vehicle inaccessible to the owner until all paperwork is gathered and completed.
If your vehicle was moved by the Maryland State Police Frederick Barrack or Frederick County Sheriffs Department a copy of these forms can be retrieved at the Frederick County Law Enforcement Center.

When can I retrieve my vehicle?
Vehicles can be retrieved 24/7, after-hour fees may apply depending on the reason for storage.
Our storage facility is open from 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday.
How do I know if need a release form?
If you are unsure if your vehicle needs a release, please contact our 24/7 dispatch and we will be sure to inform you to the best of our ability.
Should I get my tags?
Absolutely, Maryland law requires every vehicle to carry an insurance policy as long as the tags are issued. Dropping the insurance policy on the vehicle before the tags are turned in to the MVA or a tag and title service will result in fines from the state.
